Fun Fact
A MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL FRIENDSHIP
There appears to be a strong affinity between meerkats and yellow-billed hornbills, large African birds, and they can often be seen roaming together in the savannah. However, theirs is not a selfless friendship! If the hornbills spot danger, they give an alarm call; in return, they feed on the insects that are disturbed and flushed out by the meerkats.
