For detailed information on group rates (minimum 20 people), please consult our Tickets and opening times page. Group tickets can only be purchased at the ticket office at the Park entrance.

To enter and leave the Park several times in the same day, you must go to the ticket office and request a ‘pass’ stamp.

The ticket office closes 1.5 hours before the Park closes.

The Park is open every day including 25 December, Easter, Easter Monday, 25 April, 1 May, 2 June, Ferragosto, 1 November.

You can pay by PayPal and by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners Club) through the certified service QuiPago.

An email confirming your purchase to show at the ticket office at the entrance to the Park on the day of your visit.

It can happen that some email systems mistakenly put our emails containing tickets into spam. We recommend that you always check your spam folder and make sure that your email box is not full.

The visit lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Parking at the GZP is totally free.

No, the car park is not supervised.

It is not possible to stay overnight in the Park’s car park. If you are looking for a place equipped to park your camper van, you can contact the Agricampeggio – Agricamper Podere Campofossato or you can park at the Piazza Opplà car park

No, there is no set route to follow. At the entrance to the Zoological Garden you will be given a map to help you find your way around. Signs are available to indicate the most important routes.

Yes, picnic tables are available. Barbecues are not allowed.

Yes, both the bar and the restaurant offer special menus for those with food intolerances. On the our Info page you will find the contact details of the two establishments to request more information.

Yes, you can bring your dog, but it must be kept on a leash.

The Park has no architectural barriers and is completely asphalted; the terrain is hilly and the route has some sloping sections.

For visitors with certification under Law 104/92, who present the appropriate documentation, admission is free. There are no concessions for accompanying persons.

The Park is completely paved and is also accessible with pushchairs.

Animals have spaces that also allow them not to be visible at certain times of the day. This ensures their well-being and correct behaviour. If you cannot see them immediately, we recommend that you come back again at another time of day, you will certainly be able to meet them.

It is forbidden to feed animals. Each of them has balanced diets that absolutely cannot be supplemented with other foods.

The animals do not come from Nature. They are either born here or are transferred from other zoos, thanks to projects for the preservation of endangered species or collaboration programmes between zoos.
