Chicken

Gallus gallus domesticus

The Chicken lives in organized social groups, where individuals form stable social relationships and communicate through a wide range of vocalizations. It spends much of the day scratching the ground in search of seeds, shoots, insects and other small invertebrates. Curious and active, it constantly explores its surroundings, using its feet and beak to find food and taking dust baths to help keep its plumage in good condition.

The chicken's ancestor is in Gallo bankiva, native to Southeast Asia
