The Cameroon sheep is a breed originating from West Africa, well adapted to hot and humid environments. Unlike most domestic sheep, it has a short coat that sheds naturally and does not require shearing. It is a gregarious animal, living in small groups and adapting easily to a wide range of environmental conditions.

Sheep do not have upper incisors. Instead, they have a thick, tough layer of tissue called a dental pad, which provides the perfect surface for grasping and biting grass and leaves.
